Psychotherapy
I work both short and long term - with groups, couples and individuals. I work with adults and children, providing a safe space to learn, develop and heal. My areas of speciality include personal growth and transformation, LGBTQ+ issues, help with anxiety, stress and trauma. I am available for daytime, evening and some weekend sessions.
I offer an initial session at a reduced rate and at this stage you can decide if you would like the work to continue. If I am working with a child I will also meet with their parents/carers before and after the sessions. Together we will decide how many sessions you might like and how often (weekly, monthly etc); if you would prefer to work in person, on the phone or via video. Some people choose to use Art as a way to help express themselves. The non-verbal communication and visual processes within Art Therapy can be very helpful, especially when exploring more complex feelings, but it is not something you have to use.
“To pay attention, that is our endless and proper work”
Supervision
I offer one-to-one monthly or twice monthly sessions. All supervision meetings take place in person or via a video call. I offer an initial session at a reduced rate and from there we can decide how to progress.
I have daytime, evening and some weekend sessions available. I provide supervision for trainees or qualified therapists.
I offer a supportive space where you can honestly share and explore issues to do with your work - client/therapist dynamics, organisational issues etc.
Another essential part of supervision is acknowledging your achievements and successes. Therapeutic work is tough and recognising what a good job you are doing is important.
“Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it”
