Stories

Below are some pictures and words that show some of the different art work, therapy work and creative projects I have been involved in.

Art Therapy with children and adults

‘Drawing released some of my worries about what I was saying and instead I found myself talking more openly. Looking at what I had drawn became part of the therapy too and it was incredibly useful.’

Group work

‘I found talking about my feelings in a group strange at first but Rachel helped me to feel safe and then I really enjoyed being listened to and everyone in the group learnt to help each other.’

‘I had never participated in group therapy before this. I have issues with anxiety and intrusive thoughts. Ray created a supportive environment. In time I felt able to share some of my thoughts and feelings that I was not, at the start, willing to do. I found it very powerful to know that I was not alone in some of my experiences.’

Creative Therapy in a nursing home in London

‘It’s nice to be able to talk about the past with someone different and Rachel is a very good listener.’

‘I feel like a child again in these sessions and that is amazing.’

‘I feel like this mask represents the mask I have been wearing my whole life.’
